What is AI ?

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is the branch of computer science that focuses on creating machines or software that can think, learn, and make decisions like humans.

In simple words, AI means teaching computers to do tasks that usually need human intelligence — like understanding language, recognizing images, making decisions, or predicting outcomes.

💡 Examples of AI:

  • Chatbots like me (ChatGPT) that can talk and answer questions.

  • Voice assistants like Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant.

  • Self-driving cars that can see and drive safely.

  • Recommendation systems on YouTube, Netflix, or Amazon.

  • AI photo editors that can enhance or create images automatically.

⚙️ Types of AI:

  1. Narrow AI – Does one specific task (e.g., chatbots, translation, spam filters).

  2. General AI – Would think and reason like a human (not yet developed).

  3. Super AI – Smarter than humans (only theoretical for now).
